Wedding Reception Wisconsin-style

I don't know how many of you spent the 4th with an Elvis impersonator, bluegrass band, Indian dancing, and Jagermeister, but Abe and I did and it was awesome. 

Our friends Preeya and Davis were married in a small ceremony in San Francisco about 6 months ago.  Preeya's mom decided to get all the extended family and a small group of friends together for a big wedding reception.  It was so great because I finally got to meet their families and see the log cabin and house Preeya's dad built, which I've been dying to see for 12 years (FYI - it was a million times more amazing than I imagined.)

Having such a small group of their friends there for the weekend was really nice because we got to know each other really well and spend time with the Mr. & Mrs.

Abe and I flew out to Wisconsin on Friday and spent the weekend camping, swimming, paddleboating, dodging catfish, drinking lot of beer and whiskey, eating lots of chips, staying up all night, dancing, and laughing a lot.  I heart Wisconsin!
