An Evening with Fleetwood Mac

Last night was one of those magical night ladies spend their lives dreaming about...I went to a Fleetwood Mac concert. Me, Chelsea, Lauren, Colleen, Meredith, Piper and our token male, Kenny, bought the tickets months ago and have been anxiously waiting for March 19th. I don't think I have been this excited for a concert since Green Day.

First we met at the Triple Crown for some din-din and pre-show drinks.

The show was amazing with ups (Stevie and Lindsey embracing on stage) and downs (fake horn section during Tusk) and twists (gold shawl) and turns (black shawl). Stevie was incredible. Lindsey still seems like a genius/douche (lots of prayer hand thank you's to the audience).

Fleetwood didn't hold back - we heard all the hits and loved every second of it.

We were on a bathroom break when Rhiannon started - this is a photo of Meredith flying out of the stall and Lauren taking her place with lightning speed.

At times I felt like I was at a Jimmy Buffet concert, but whatever, I wasn't...I was with Fleetwood Mac god damn it!

I Luff My BFF

You know why I'm lucky? Cause I have the most awesome BFF ever. Who else would religiously read my blog and then surprise me with Ed Emberley's Drawing Book of Faces??? (And disguise it by pretending to be sending me an Avon catalog).

Love you Allyson!

Alot Can Happen on a Sunday

Yesterday was one of those really nice, long Sundays. I woke in the morning, went to yoga, listened to NPR, watched Brady Bunch, drank lots of coffee, worked on my computer...and then around 3pm went over to The Habitat to have a beer with Colleen and Starr, left them to go get my hair cut, realized that I have psychic powers, went back to The Habitat for another beer, went grocery shopping with Abe, cooked up some beef stew, and then went over Colleen & Kenny's to watch Anchorman and eat pizza.

Yes, all that happened in one day. My life is kind of amazing; don't hate. I have to say though, the most incredible moment of that whole day was around 8pm when I laid my eyes on Colleen's George Costanza wallet.

It is a Chipotle burrito.

Amazing Baby Listening Party

Last night I went to a listening party for Amazing Baby's new album (which I think hits the shelves in June). We all crammed into the back room at Local 138 and opened our ears. The album sounded awesome!!!

My head looks flat and gigantic in this photo, but I am okay with that because everyone else looks very cute.

Craft Sunday :: Dioramas

On Sunday I hosted another Craft Sunday at my apartment. The theme was Dioramas.

Everyone was supposed to read a book and then come prepared to create a diorama based on their book. This theme was loose - I also allowed free form dioramas. I was very proud of all my little crafters - they all gave 110% and everyone left with awesome projects.

Awwww. Now that's creepy.

Lauren is caught reading - get back to your collage!
